New Years Eve

Happy New Year, everyone!

I had an awesome end to 2011. I woke up and decided to write down all the things that I've achieved this year. That was depressing, since I really hadn't done much, except gotten into university. Did I tell you guys about that (why did I just think that 'about' started with a w?)? Any way, we'll talk about that later.

So then, I went back and looked through my blog. That was less depressing, because I got to remember all the things that I've told you guys about. Bronchitis, Shakespeare and his medicine. Wow, That was sad. That was all I could thing of.

So, after that, I went to a New Years Eve party. It was a pool party. Let me give you the details of the night:
Shakespeare and I turned up to the party, half an hour late. I had just thrown some clothes over my bathers, but Shakespeare had to be all well dressed, so he took ages to get ready. When we got there, everyone was already either in the pool or drinking. Now, I don't drink (well, I have the occasional glass of champagne or whatever), and since basically the one rule at this persons house is you don't get to swim if you've been drinking. So I spent the whole night in the pool. Shakespeare was hanging around by the pool catching up with people, but then I dragged him into the pool (literally, clothes and all) and then he had to swim with me. Then got out of the pool at about 11 o'clock to 'socialise' (which means me looking awkward while Shakespeare acts all socially competent), then, at midnight, I jumped in the pool while Shakespeare laughed at me and everyone else drank champagne. I spent the rest of the night dancing and looking stupid. I also reenacted the fireworks display for the people who missed it (it's probably on youtube by now).

I didn't get home until around 4 am, by which time I was so high on sugar and other peoples emotions (that's a thing I do) that I actually didn't get any sleep and have almost decided that I'm going to be nocturnal. The world is much more fun at night. Better stuff on TV, more of my American friends on the internet...

So, I hope you enjoyed me bragging about my New Years Eve as much as I enjoyed being a part of it. Nighty Night.
